30 participants coming from the different provinces of Luzon including Metro Manila attended the 1st National Chess Trainers' Seminar held from September 5 to 6, 2015 at the 3/F, Function Hall of CB Mall, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan. The seminar was conducted by Developmental Instructor and PCTAP Vice-President for Luzon ILANN PEREZ on the first day while the second day was handled by FIDE Instructor and PCTAP President RUDY IBAÑEZ. Asia's First Grandmaster and PCTAP Chairman EUGENE TORRE congratulated all the participants and encourage them to apply what they have learned in this FIDE based training program. The awarding ceremonies was graced by Education Program Supervisor of Pangasinan II, Dr. ENRIQUE MACAYAN who pledged his support in PCTAP's program for all chess trainers in Pangasinan. This seminar was organized by Professional Chess Trainers' Association of the Philippines (PCTAP) in cooperation with Advance Chess Scholastic and Training Center (ACSTC) headed by DI/FNA Hermilo Samaniego and MANNY COSTALES, and hosted by CB Mall Urdaneta City headed by Assistant Officer-in-Charge Mr. ERICK JOHN CLAUDIO.
